- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Me & my husband just closed on our first home finally!! Worst experience of my life all because of BB&T. If I could give them less than a star I would! We had 3 different closing dates & on every single one we didn't find out we weren't able to close the day before closing or the day of. Our last date to close was Friday, my husband went to BB&T to make sure everything was clear to close before I drove an hour to the attorneys office, she said yes but when I arrived the attorney said our lender had called that morning stating we could not close until they received another document that we knew nothing about.
